How FreeCMS Works for Web Designers
Setting up a Website in FreeCMS
Simply enter some informtaion about the website such as Name and URL. We also require FTP settings because FreeCMS works by publishing changes via FTP. There is loads of in-page help and a great support team if you have questions.
Specifying which Web Pages are Editable
After you have added your Website details, you can click a button and we'll scan your Website for Web Pages with editable content. Only the web pages with editable content will be displayed to your editors.
Adding Editors and setting permissions
Add Editors to each of your Websites. You can either give your Editor permission to update all Web Pages on the Website or you can assign permissions on a page-by-page basis. You can also configure which WYSIWYG features they can use.
